ADEM Requests Proposals for Environmental Services at Brownfield Sites

The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is initiating procurement procedures to obtain environmental services for performance of soil and groundwater quality assessments, development of cleanup plans, implementation of cleanup plans, and outreach activities associated with brownfield sites. This work is being funded through the Brownfield Redevelopment Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Fund and is subject to the procurement regulations contained in 40 CFR Part 31. Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) for prime contracts and subcontracts is a contract condition where those services can be obtained. Other grant conditions will apply and will be addressed in the actual contract. Three or more applicants will be selected through this process, with which ADEM will establish contracts. The contract period will be three years from the date of contract execution and subject to renewal. Additional information including instructions for proposal submittal can be found by clicking here.
